This Course Manual on Hydropower Engineering is intended for students who are studying Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering . It is strictly based on Pokhara University’s revised syllabus. This manual is organized in ten chapters, covering materials related to fundamental of Hydropower Engineering. At the end of the each chapter, tutorial set has been prepared based on past board exam questions. This manual has been prepared based on teaching experience of the authors in water resources related subjects in different engineering colleges. This concise manual provides basic concepts on the subject matters in an understandable manner to prepare students for the exam. Students are advised to refer to text books to have broad exposure to the subject contents.
